The Trim Press Operator is responsible for preparing finished cast parts from the die-cast machines and separating them into individual pieces using a mechanical trimming machine.

Job Description
The Trim Press Operator is responsible for preparing finished cast parts from the die-cast machines and separating them into individual pieces using a mechanical trimming machine.
Duties And Responsibilities
- De-gate and trim part according to instructions.
- Alert management of continuous improvement ideas.
- Efficiently work to the production standards set by management.
- Excellent attendance, be focused and engaged.
- Follow written work instructions for the designated part.
- Clean and organize the work area.
- Check parts for defects.
- Meet all company and department goals for quality and production.
- Must be able to read and comprehend written and verbal work instructions.
- Good hand eye coordination, manual dexterity (the ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects).
- Flexibility to adjust to various job assignments within their department and work in other departments as the workload increases and decreases.
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
- Capacity to take direction.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing/pulling, and moving objects up to 40 pounds routinely.
- Flexible to work overtime as necessary.
- High School Diploma Preferred
