Sinker EDM

RAM Precision is looking for a sinker EDM operator! RAM is a precision tool manufacturer that has been in business for 50 years. Since 1974, Ram has been a leader in delivering high-tech manufacturing capabilities.

Ram recently added 25,000 sq ft to it's only location in Centerville, Ohio. Our team is growing rapidly and we are looking for entry, mid, and senior level machinists. We have positions open on first and second shift (2nd shift not mandatory).

Positions are full-time and include an insurance package, flexible hours, overtime opportunities, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, one week of unpaid time, and so much more!

Responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating Sinker EDM machines to produce parts according to engineering blueprints and specifications
• Programming machines using CAD/CAM software
• Selecting appropriate electrodes, tooling, and materials for each job
• Performing quality checks and inspections to ensure parts meet tolerances and specifications
• Troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on machines
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Following all safety protocols and procedures
• Maintaining accurate documentation

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience operating Sinker EDM machines
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints
• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
