Position Description
The Warehouse Supervisor will always operate with integrity, possess a strong desire to serve others and foster that desire within the warehouse team. The primary responsibility is assisting the Warehouse Manager to oversee the five main functions of the warehouse (receiving / packing / picking / shipping / cycle counting), performing those and other warehouse duties as needed, and training warehouse representatives to ensure their success.
Personnel Management
- Ensure warehouse team is fully committed each day to serve our customers with excellence.
- Resolve conflicts between members of the warehouse team, coach and retrain team members when needed, and ensure daily goals are met.
- Identify when corrective action is needed and report incidents to the warehouse manager.
- Train and supervise warehouse personnel, always adhering to documented training manual and Ram core values, and update training manual as needed.
- Manage daily workload and activity within the warehouse to ensure smooth operations, including vacation scheduling, sick leave, timecards, and creating and updating the warehouse rotation schedule.
- Ensure warehouse personnel perform all tasks safely through training and oversight as well as ensure all warehouse equipment, racking and supplies meet necessary safety standards.
- Mentor specialists, helping them to grow professionally and personally.
- Participate in Lean morning routines, including: morning meetings, leading warehouse huddle, supervise 3S projects, and manage warehouse improvement board.
Inventory Management
- Manage physical item locations, bin locations within the software systems, and re-organization as needed.
- Ensure accurate inventory within the software systems by managing the cycle count process, including cycle count creation, reconciliation, and posting.
- Proactively identify inventory issues and resolve as needed.
- Ensure all hazmat shipping policies and procedures are followed.
- Manage customer and truck return process.
Process Management
- Assist Warehouse Manager with managing and improving the processes for the five main functions of the warehouse, including receiving, production, picking and packing, shipping, and cycle counting.
- Ensure an efficient order fulfillment process through pick list creation, hard allocation management, production order creation as needed for expediting orders, and short assortment management.
- Manage the weekly stock replacement schedule to ensure all stock replacements and COTS ship on time to the correct truck, including making changes as needed due to TM and FSR vacations and Ram Holidays.
Facilities Management
- Manage warehouse supplies procurement by stock checking and ordering as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse by managing a cleaning schedule and inspecting cleaning activity for satisfactory results.
- Provide general building upkeep and maintenance as needed.
- Assist Warehouse Manager with troubleshooting and repairing printers, computers, and basic IT equipment as needed.
- Assist Warehouse Manager with maintaining current warehouse equipment, managing repairs, and making recommendations for new equipment as needed.

Youll also need:
- High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalence Certificate.
- To be able to lift 25-50 pounds.
- 2 years of warehouse leadership experience.
- To be able to pass a background check, physical, and drug test.
