Ram Realty Advisors LLC acquires and develops retail, multifamily, and mixed-use properties in select high-growth markets throughout the Southeast. The Investor Relations Associate will help service Ram’s existing and prospector investor base and assist with various portfolio management responsibilities associated with Ram’s investment vehicles. This is a critical position that will support business development initiatives and help maintain/enhance relationships with Ram’s investment partners. This position will collaborate with senior management across all functional groups, external consultants (outside counsel, compliance, tax) and other service providers, understanding the holistic operations and strategy of the business, and how Ram provides value – to its investors, employees and the communities where it invests. This position provides exposure to high visibility projects and offers personal growth/development opportunities within Investor Relations, Fundraising, and Ram generally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Capital Markets team in executing business/product development and client engagement strategies – includes marketing material creation/design/delivery.
- Assist with investor onboarding and due diligence process.
- Coordinate responses to incoming due diligence questions from prospective investors and act as the main point of contact.
- Manage incoming data requests from new/existing investors and respond in a timely manner. Includes: fund performance requests, DDQs, RFPs, track record analysis, consultant questionnaires/databases.
- Maintain Ram’s CRM (Yardi investor portal) and utilize database to manage marketing activity and provide reporting.
- Draft internal/external presentations and provide supporting data analysis.
- Provide insights and create reports on macro economy, competitive landscapes and industry trends.
- Coordinate investor due diligence visits, including preparing tour materials and rehearsing with team members.
- Plan and coordinate investor/partner events (e.g., annual investor meeting, partner update calls and portfolio reviews).
- Coordinate and participate in periodic meetings/calls with IR/Fundraising team and Senior Management Team regarding fundraising progress.
- Prepare and distribute announcements regarding major transactions, property updates/milestones, team updates, and other ad hoc external communication pieces.
- Research prospective investors and summarize prior conversations to prepare IR/fundraising team for upcoming meetings.
- Prepare and distribute quarterly consultant (existing and potential future investor) updates.
- Help maintain the Firm’s overall portfolio performance returns (“Track Record”) updated semi-annually (or quarterly during fundraising) and prepare comparisons against benchmarks for review by the Senior Investor Relations team. Gather and disseminate benchmark data.
- Prepare and distribute quarterly investor reporting templates.
- Assist with market research as requested for the Firm’s specific geographies; dissect trends and collaborate with other teams to qualify data that will help tell the story of an entire market; disseminate market research to the firm on a quarterly basis (and ad hoc, as needed) to be used in Investment Committee Memos, Marketing Materials, etc.
- Research, assemble, and distribute white papers regarding relevant subject matter (multifamily/mixed-use/retail, Southeast U.S., etc.) to help promote Ram as a thought leader and build firm visibility.
- Attend pitch meetings with the capital raising team, when practical.
- Complete other related projects as needed to support other divisional groups within the firm.
- Be an ambassador of Ram and uphold its reputation for excellence - Network and maintain positive industry-related relationships.

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in finance or accounting and three years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 3-4 years of professional experience with financial modeling and analysis, including scenario analyses.
- Quantitative and analytical experience with proficiency in Excel required.
- Relevant real estate experience (commercial and multifamily ideal) and a demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis both on an individual asset level as well as portfolio/fund level using methodologies such as NPV analysis and IRR analysis. This includes property and fund level waterfalls.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret both property and portfolio level financial results.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately capture large data and find meaningful relationships.
- Ability to analyze and interpret correspondence and business reports.
- Ability to comprehend complex legal documents.
