The Contents Technician provides critical assistance to homeowners and businesses that have experienced property and contents damage. As a part of the contents team, the individual spends significant time on-site of damaged properties; assessing, organizing, inventorying, packing, and moving contents to the company’s facility for proper cleaning, deodorization, and secure storage until they can be returned.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to loss locations in our service areas
- Setting up workstations on-site
- Utilize inventory and job management software on company PC/Tablet/Smartphone
- Identify and document all damaged items prior to handling and packing
- Gather, sort, inventory and pack-out affected contents items
- Assist with inventory and disposal of all non-salvageable items
- Follow standard processes to clean and deodorize affected contents
- Organize and repackage cleaned contents in preparation for storage
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to:
- Pass criminal background check (no felonies or domestic violence)
- Demonstrate clear driving record
- Lift and carry boxes up to 40lbs
- Work in non-climate-controlled buildings during periods of extreme heat and cold
- Stand, kneel, crouch, and bend over for extended periods of time
- Climb ladders
- Enter and maneuver in confined spaces such as crawlspaces or attics
- Properly utilize PPE equipment
- High level of attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
