What are the responsibilities and job description for the Houseman/Groudsman position at RAMADA HOTEL?
HOUSEMAN/GROUNDSMAN
THIS IS A BARTER POSITION REQUIRING APPLICANT TO LIVE ON SITE, WORKING 30 HOURS WEEKLY TO COVER THE COST OF THE ROOM, BALANCE OF HOURS TO BE PAID
Responsibilities:
Labor intensive tasks ie flipping mattresses/hanging pictures/moving furniture & debris
Work closely with Hotel Supervisors to ensure all room accessories are in working order
Continuous trash pickup throughout the property
Lawn care
Pool maintenance
Outside painting and any items dealing with curb appeal
Preparing housekeeping carts
Special projects, such as preventive maintenance for PTACS, painting common areas, pulling down curtains and shower curtains
Assist in laundry when needed
Meeting/banquet room setups for functions
Light maintenance work
Requirements:
Must be detail oriented
Good customer service skills
Able to lift heavy items
Lawn Care experience
Desire and motivation to learn
Must have light maintenance experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
