This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen operations, including meal preparation, cooking, and plating. They will supervise the kitchen staff, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items. The Sous Chef will also assist in inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of kitchen procedures and best practices
- Excellent culinary and food presentation skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a team
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
