Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at the Ramada Plaza Nags Head Oceanfront. As a senior member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive kitchen strategies, ensuring seamless food preparation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for menu engineering, cost control, and inventory management.
  • Lead a team of talented chefs and cooks, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase revenue.
  • Conduct regular site visits, monitoring kitchen operations, and implementing improvements as needed.
  • Design and implement engaging marketing campaigns, showcasing the hotel's culinary offerings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local farmers, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring the highest quality ingredients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, attending conferences, workshops, and networking events.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety protocols.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of quality.
