What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor position at Ramada Worldwide?
GENERAL SUMMARY: The Front Desk Agent will be the face of the hotel, greeting and interacting with all guests, visitors, and the general public. The Front Desk Agent must possess excellent interpersonal communications skills. May also support a variety of administrative duties as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represents the hotel in a knowledgeable and professional manner and provides exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for the school.
- Greets all guests and visitors to the hotel and answers incoming phone calls, and assists caller with their needs.
- Patrols the hotel lobby and shop to ensure facility is clean and secure, alerting supervisor immediately of any issues.
- Call emergency services (“911”) and provide information (issue, location), to responders if observes or is alerted to an emergency.
- Maintains professional decorum, dress, and interactions with others.
- Provides support to other departments as assigned.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned by management.
- Use of the Opera Cloud PMS system to check in/check out guests
- Communicate with housekeeping to ensure guest departure
- Communicate with maintenance with any issues regarding hotel room issue or building issue
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
