Compensation: :$23-$24/hr

Position Overview::
The Structural CNC Drill Saw Operator Trainee will learn how to receive materials, perform the daily operation and maintenance of the Ficep Drill Saw machine, track project status at the Drill Saw workstation, as well as organize and handle material for the infeed and outfeed areas. This role includes working alongside the experienced Drill Saw Operators to identify different materials, handle materials, inspect and clean finished pieces, perform preventative maintenance on the machine, and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities to be Learned::
- Receive raw material to be processed at the Drill Saw.
- Efficiently and safely handle and stage materials for processing.
- Stack and label finished parts accurately.
- Inspect and clean finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on the CNC machine and other equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop area at all times.
- Ability to escalate any issues found to Shop Supervisor and/or Production Control Manager.
- Ability to follow directions accurately and work well with others.
- Excellent punctuality, attendance, and communication skills.
- Safe work habits and a strong willingness to learn.
- Willingness to cross train on other machinery as needed.
- Demonstrated excellent attendance record.
- Strong commitment to safety and a willingness to adhere to safety protocols.
- Organized with a strong attention to detail.
- HS diploma/GED or equivalent.
