Overview:
Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional Sr Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team in San Jose, CA. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.
As a Sr Internal Auditor, the candidate will be reporting to the Sr Dir Internal Audit and is a Full-Time position.
Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for the majority of our office-based roles. We encourage employees to spend an average of at least three days per week working onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.
Responsibilities:
Support the evaluation of design and operating effectiveness of internal controls (including ICFR, ITGC, ITAC, IPE controls) in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act;
Assist with maintaining the internal audit library of documentation in AuditBoard SOXHub;
Assist with audit project planning which includes developing risk assessment;
Review audit outcomes and reports and assist management with implementation of remediation plans developed by the process owners;
Collaboratively work with colleagues to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the audit effort;
Work with external auditors, as needed, to coordinate coverage across areas of responsibility and ensure that audit work is comprehensive and sufficient to allow them to rely on IA testing;
Provide periodic status reports to the team, and responsible for preparing drafts of written communications and presentation materials for senior management; and
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with all levels of management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
One or more active professional certification (CPA, CA, CIA, CISA)
10+ years of accounting or audit experience including recent Financial and IT internal audit experience in a technology company
Understanding of US GAAP, and proficiency with SOX 404 internal controls
Familiarity with systems and information technology controls preferred
Semiconductor industry knowledge preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work flexible hours
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate compliance issues to any audience
Quick learner, strong analytical and reasoning skills with great attention to details
Multitasker who can manage projects, meet tight deadlines, prioritize and solve problems in time sensitive environment

The US salary range for this full-time position is $116,300.00 to $216,100.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
