Accounting Manager
Objective
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing organizational systems for gathering data, analyzing information, confirming the accuracy of their staff’s reports and provide recommendations for improving accounting methods. An important part of the Accounting Manager’s role is understanding all types of financial operations at a company and how they work together including debts, assets, cash forecasting, payroll, capital assets and revenue analysis.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for accounting and financial reporting functions including monthly and quarterly consolidations
- Management of the AR aging and collections and customer credits function
- Management of the AP function, including all payments methods (check, ACH, Wire, VCC)
- Generation of weekly and monthly operational metric reports
- Perform month-end closing process activities
- Account reconciliations on a quarterly and monthly basis
- Physical inventory liaison with operations, attendance and analysis
- Preparation of analysis and reports, as requested
- Provide assistance, as needed, with banking relationships
- Interact with other company departments to maintain compliance with system and accounting procedures, ensuring proper financial reporting
- Assist and backup Corporate Controller
- Always behave in a safe and professional manner. Maintain a cooperative attitude toward other employees and keep a mind-set that always considers the best long-term interests of the company

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in accounting
- CPA or MBA, not required, but could be desirable
- 7 to 10 years accounting experience
Preferred Skills
- Basic accounting/GAAP standards background.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
