At Ramco you would be part of a close-knit conservative team, working for a technologically advanced manufacturing company, selling metal roofing, and building materials.
We are looking to hire a financial analyst whose purpose is to maximize value for shareholders and carefully analyze all financial transactions - Including sales, billing, payroll, AR/AP, and banking.
This role will include managing accounting records, evaluating, and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information.
This is a hands-on management level position that requires understanding the business and working with all levels within the company. Knowing the products and company functions are crucial to the role. Building strong relationships with fellow employees and external business partners is key.
This position will be required to come in the office daily! It is not a remote position.
Duties & Activities:
- Assist management with important financial decisions.
- Prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts, and statements to understand the financial state of business. This includes budget, cashflow statement, margin trackers and pricing modeling.
- Supervise employees who work under this role in a way consistent to Ramco Values.
- Monitor a company’s financial health and determine ways to reduce costs.
- Keep up to date on the financial market to understand how to maximize profits and find new expansion areas.
- Understand the financials of a company to meet legal requirements and keep the financial state in good standing.
- Regularly review current financial documents such as: Sales numbers, balance sheets, tax forms, income statements, accounts receivable and accounts payable to add to financial reports.
- Participate in meetings with the Leadership and Finance teams to implement new financial recording procedures.
- Oversee the organization and storage of financial documents for future review.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial management.
- Strategic planning and vision.
- Understanding of advanced accounting and regulatory issues.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Experience in financial reporting.
- Expert at Microsoft Excel
