Job Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer experience in the optical department
- Perform billing efforts for insurance plans and products
- Learn NextGen Optical Management software and perform routine tasks
- Manage product inventory and report discrepancies
- Assist with marketing plans within the Optical Department
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to actively engage patients
- Attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of vision insurance (EYEMED, VSP, MES & Spectera)
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong computer skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond
- Ability to work independently and be a team player
- Management or leadership skills a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking preferred)
Experience
- Experienced Optician
- NextGen software preferred
- Sales experience
- ABO/NCLE preferred
