What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Veterinary Assistant position at Ramona Animal Hospital?
Happy to train even if you have no experience. The minimum wage is for those with no experience in a small animal veterinary hospital. The higher wage is for those with experience. We are seeking long term employees who are interested in learning about a career working with animals. The hours required will not fit with a student. Must be physically strong and not allergic to dogs or cats. Part time hours to start. May be able to offer full time. Overtime may be offered but is not required. This is a heavy cleaning job to start with. Many areas need attention such as kennels, floors, windows, and laundry. Then we start training you to restrain the patients and type medical records. If you master these skills we will teach you much more such as catheter placement, drawing blood, assisting with surgery, and lab work. Ramona resident highly prefered. Please email resume.
