What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant position at Ramona Animal Hospital?
Immediate opening for Assistant with at least two years experience in a small animal veterinary hospital. Please be skilled in lifting and restraining large dogs. And cats of course! Need experience as a room nurse, surgery assistant and knowledge of veterinary products. Will need to occasionally fill in as a receptionist. Typing skills appreciated. There are minor cleaning duties involved. 30-40 hours a week. Can't be allergic to dogs or cats. Compensation commensurate with experience. More skills such as ability to draw blood and place catheters will merit the higher pay. No weekend work is required. Ramona residents highly preferred. Please email resume.'
