Job Summary
Under general direction, the Wet Hose Delivery Driver provides a direct “wet hose” refueling service to customer equipment on a daily basis in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining awareness of customer satisfaction and public safety. The Wet Hose Delivery Driver delivers diesel fuel ranging from 100-600 gallons to equipment (such as trucks, generators, loaders, diggers, cranes, etc.) located at customer’s work sites. This entry-level position provides an opportunity to advance to package and tank truck driver.
Tasks
- Provide a “wet hose” refueling service to customers, directly fueling the customer fuel tanks and designated equipment at customer job sites and locations; meet scheduled delivery times and ensure proper fuel is delivered.
- Transfer all fuel safely, securely and efficiently into customer’s vehicles and equipment, avoiding spills. Comply with all Ramos Oil Company and DOT safety policies and procedures. Properly load and unload fuel on delivery truck following procedures outlined by Ramos Oil Company.
- Follow delivery instructions. Log all deliveries and report gallons back to Ramos Oil Company by using onboard technology as instructed (Symbology). Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Interact with site managers and job foremen to build customer relations.
- Comply with Ramos Oil Company accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills.
- Additional related tasks as assigned by manager.

Requirements

- Valid California driver’s license, Class-A or Class-B preferred
