Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team as a Blood Collection Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, excellent interpersonal skills, and proficiency in phlebotomy. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing biometric screenings, including venous blood draws, finger sticks, blood pressure checks, and other health assessments at various client locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and safely perform venous and capillary blood collection.
- Conduct testing via CardioCheck machines utilizing finger-stick sample collection.
- Blood pressure (automated and manual), BMI, body fat measurements, and other health metrics.
- Proper labeling, handling, and transportation of blood specimens.
- Accurate and confidential records of participant information.
- Safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professional team members.
- Provide services at various screening sites as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Willingsness to provide services at different sites within the designated area.
- Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent.
- Current licensure (if required) as a Phlebotomist.
- Proficiency in performing blood draws and biometric measurements.
