The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, excellent interpersonal skills, and proficiency in phlebotomy. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing biometric screenings at various client locations.Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and safely perform venous and capillary blood collection.
- Conduct testing via CardioCheck machines utilizing finger-stick sample collection.
- Blood pressure checks, BMI measurements, body fat assessments, and other health metrics.
- Proper labeling, handling, and transportation of blood specimens.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of participant information.
- Foster a safe and sterile environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive health screening experience.
- Work at various screening sites as needed (reliable transportation required).
- Transport medical instruments and supplies to and from events if necessary.
- Effective communication between team members, management, and clients.
- Participate in paid training sessions, either in-person or online.
- Age 18 or older.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Will to provide services at different sites within the designated area.
- Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent.
- Current licensure (if required) as a Phlebotomist.
- Proficiency in performing blood draws and biometric measurements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CPR certification.
- Bilingual abilities highly desirable but not required.
- Prolonged standing, sitting, and walking.
- Some bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
- Standard per diem, PRN hourly rate based on your state of residence.
- Options to become a Team Lead may be assigned, including an hourly differential.
- Reimbursement for onboarding training, non-compensated.
