We are looking for a Senior Application Engineer primarily focusing on Salesforce.com and integrations with other systems in our stack. The engineer will work with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions to scale our business. The overall goal and opportunity is to bring architectural and engineering maturity to our business systems. The role sits in the growth engineering function within the business systems engineering team.

About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Application Engineer primarily focusing on Salesforce.com and integrations with other systems in our stack. The engineer will work with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions to scale our business. The role sits in the growth engineering function within the business systems engineering team.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy applications on the Salesforce platform
- Make cognizant decisions on utilizing out-of-the-box automation vs customizations
- Work closely with leaders in the business tech and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions focussed on solving business problems
- Hands-on developing applications utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Aura, Triggers, and REST APIs
- Work on VS Code, Github, and CICD processes to maintain code sanity
- Write technical specifications documents, including architecture diagrams, data model diagrams, process flows, and sequence diagrams
- Work on user stories related to ongoing projects, tech-debt, process optimization and performance improvement
- Work closely with the sustaining team and proactively plan on the KT processes
- 7 years working with the Salesforce platform
- 3 years of experience with Systems Architecture and integrations
- Experience working in lead, Contact, Account, opportunity management, and Campaign Management
- Strong Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Aura, and Triggers
- Strong knowledge of developing lightning web components
- Strong knowledge and working knowledge of APIs and Integrations with Salesforce
- Strong knowledge and working knowledge of synchronous/asynchronous methods, streaming APIs, and publish/subscribe design patterns and architectural patterns
- Solid understanding of version control processes (check-in/checkout/merge/pull etc.) Experience in GitHub/Bitbucket and branching strategy is a plus
- Solid understanding or implementation knowledge of CI/CD processes
- Understanding Salesforce governance limits and code coverage
- Follow unit-testing best practices and be capable of coding for positive/negative scenarios
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Marketing tech tools, preferably Hubspot
- Knowledge of data pipelines and Integrations
- Ipaas/Integration experience, preferably Workato
- Experience with Agile methodologies

Salary : $144,500 - $170,000
