About the Role
We're looking for a Product Data Scientist to join the Financial Intelligence team at Ramp to shape the future of data-driven financial systems. This role focuses on building foundational data products and workflows that drive efficiency, enhance decision-making, and create scalable solutions for Ramp's financial ecosystem. You'll partner closely with Capital Markets, Treasury, Internal Finance, and Accounting stakeholders to deliver insights, forecast key metrics, and create early-stage products that improve internal processes and influence Ramp's customer-facing products.
This is an exciting opportunity to build and shape the vision of Ramp's financial intelligence capabilities. The ideal candidate will be a full-stack data expert who thrives in building data infrastructure while driving high-impact data science initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Lead data science initiatives, such as forecasting $2B monthly cash inflows and outflows for Ramp's card business and other financial products
- Build internal tools, such as an internal ledger, that improve Ramp's operations and serve as a prototype for future customer-facing products
- Develop and manage critical data products that deliver financial information to Ramp's lenders, enabling the company to secure funding daily
- Full stack product data science development, building models to consume, transform, and expose data to stakeholders and production systems
- Collaborate with P / E / D / D (product, engineering, data, and design) teams to develop product roadmaps and measure success
