Title: Leasing Agent - Baton Rouge, LA
Rampart Multi-Family Management a top leader in the property management business currently has an opening for a Leasing Agent with the possible of hire.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Answer incoming phone calls and handle each call accordingly, whether it is a client call, irate resident, service request, etc.
- Greet prospective clients, qualify, determine needs and preferences, professionally present community while communicating features and benefits
- Maintain a Leasing Portfolio, which includes community specific information complete with brochures and information
- Walk rented units prior to move-in to verify that unit is move-in ready
- Oversee correct completion of all lease applications, application verification and notification of prospective clients of results. Oversee miscellaneous client communication as needed
- Physically inspect or oversee physical inspection of community, pick up litter and report any service needs to maintenance staff. Inspects move-outs and vacancies as needed.
- Inventory office supplies on periodic basis.
- Oversee organization and filing of appropriate reports, leases and paperwork.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by Site Manager or Regional Property Manager
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent is required
- At least 1 year of experience in property management leasing preferred
- Tax Credit experience Credit preferred
- HUD preferred
- Good leasing and closing skills
- Must have Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) knowledge
- Good organizational skills
