Mechanical Maintenance Lead

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and project management skills, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising maintenance staff while managing various projects related to facilities management, HVAC systems, and equipment fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring they operate effectively and efficiently.
• Utilize logic controllers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with machinery and equipment.
• Fabricate parts as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure maintenance tasks align with operational needs.
• Manage projects related to facility upgrades or repairs, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot using tools such as voltmeters.
• Experience with HVAC systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising a team.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Familiarity with fabrication processes is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
