Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a solid understanding of GAAP principles. The Accounting Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks Online and Desktop
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role in finance or accounting.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, QBO and QuickBooks Desktop is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform credit analysis effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
