What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Technician position at Rampro Facility Service?
RamPro is a growing company, focused on commercial kitchens and large facilities in the Midwest. We value quality work, communication, leadership, and safety. We are committed to removing grease from the entire kitchen exhaust system, including the ducts and exhaust fans. We prevent fires in commercial kitchens by following NFPA 96 standards and providing the most thorough cleaning service possible.
The Cleaning Technician is a crucial role in our company. Rampro's success is tied directly to the quality of service provided by our Technicians. Our team of professionals performs a thorough inspection from floor to roof to identify and address any potential risks or factors requiring repair, and deep clean and sanitize the premises.
In this role you will...
- Work with a team of 2-6 technicians in full kitchen exhaust system cleaning.
- Clean/scrape/remove grease from surfaces included but not limited to kitchen exhaust systems, kitchen equipment, and other various kitchen surfaces.
- Operate various types of hand tools/scrapers.
- Operate various types of commercial cleaning equipment, such as pressure washers, water heaters, wet vacs.
- Prepare sites for service (Cover equipment with plastic, wrap hoods, protect outlets, cover food).
- Clean-up sites after service.
- Drive work vans to and from the job site.
Requirements
- Demonstrates attention to detail with physical tasks
- Maintains a consistent Customer centric orientation
- Must be able to work night shifts, 10pm-6am (day shift work is also available)
- Driver's License (Required)
- One year of Customer Service experience (preferred)
- Mechanical Knowledge- preferred
- Commercial Hood Cleaning Certification is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (outdoors and indoors), hot or cold.
- Must be able to crawl into confined spaces as well as climb up/down ladders.
- Must be able to perform general physical activities and to lift 70 lbs.

Benefits
- Wage rate is between $19.50 and $25/hour, based on experience and ability
- Paid Vacation (Eligible to accrue after 6 months)
