Salary: $90,000 - $109,000/year* profit sharing benefits

*Range depends on skill level and overall experience.

What You’d Do in This Role:

As an important part of our Network team, the Associate Director of Media Content and Development will ensure that we are producing world-class content that changes lives.  The ideal candidate is always creatively thinking one step ahead and understands the business goals of the Network team.  They will speak into the strategy of our shows and level up our content processes.

Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining writing standards and ensuring all content meets our quality guidelines. You will have the opportunity to lead the content creation of our in-house network team. The Network team produces 7 YouTube shows with over 88 million monthly views, and teaching materials for everyone in every walk of life.

• Strategic Leadership: Help guide current programming and help develop new pipeline projects to elevate the network’s slate
• Industry Knowledge: Utilize expertise and experience to help guide the creative direction and strategy of our content
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of 5 writers, fostering collaboration and driving creative excellence
• Hands-on Contribution: Demonstrate the ability to produce high-quality work when the team encounters challenges and teach the team the methods used to achieve these solutions
• Collaborative Environment: Collaborate closely with leaders across the organization to guide the creative team towards elevated outputs and expanded capabilities

You’re Probably a Match If:

• You have 5 years in a media leadership role, driving the development of media content through scriptwriting specifically.
• You have 2 years of experience directly leading a content creation team.
• You have foundational knowledge of broad types of writing content (YouTube, Podcast, News, Documentaries).
• You have experience leading strategic conversations that drive show development with stakeholders.
• You have the ability to execute a vision and bring ideas to life.
• You have a heart to “make it better” by identifying roadblocks and presenting solutions.
• You have exceptional presence, emotional maturity, and a proven track record of delivering results.
• You are always in tune with the “pulse” of the organization; a demonstrated track record of influencing, listening, building trust, and affecting change.
• You have the ability to build strong, open working relationships characterized by mutual respect.
• You are bold, humble, self-aware, smart, and confident team member who seeks the betterment of the team and organization at large versus themselves.

• Creative Vision: Steering the progression of the Ramsey Network’s tone, and creative approach for the next phase of the evolution of our Ramsey Network shows
• Innovation: Work with the team to level up our craft, processes and relationships to elevate our content
• Cross-Functional Relationships: Inspiring deep and fun collaborative relationships that build stronger content and bigger impact for our shows
• Executive Collaboration: Partner with writers, producers, leaders, etc. on new pipeline projects and regularly push what is possible for a typical Ramsey show or episode
