Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as an Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough analysis and providing insights that support decision-making processes within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance, along with the ability to interpret complex data sets. You will work closely with various departments to ensure adherence to legal standards and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Securities law, Fair Housing regulations, and other relevant legal frameworks.
- Collaborate with public accounting teams to support audits and financial reporting requirements.
- Manage compliance management processes to mitigate risks associated with fraud prevention detection.
- Assist in the preparation of technical accounting documentation and reports.
- Utilize financial software to streamline data collection and reporting processes.
- Provide insights on TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations and their implications for the organization.
- Support corporate accounting functions by analyzing financial statements and ensuring accuracy.
- Participate in ACH (Automated Clearing House) transactions analysis and reconciliation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of securities law, compliance management, and public accounting practices.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and fraud prevention detection strategies is preferred.
- Proficiency in technical accounting principles and practices.
- Experience using financial software for data analysis and reporting is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex information.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour
