Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Reporting to the Clinical Director, our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, will serve children and families with a wide range of mental health concerns and emotional issues. Provide initial psychiatric assessment of youth, ongoing medication management and regularly scheduled clinical visits with youth and families. This salary for this position starts at $ 120,000.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides medication monitoring and follow-up visits for youth
- Orders prescriptions and refills
- Provide initial psychiatric assessment
- Coordinate care with treatment team members
- Document all medical/clinical evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, referrals, education and consultations
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing;
- Licensed in the state of New Jersey with specialty in Psychiatry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and experience with trauma patients
- Efficient and disciplined work habits enabling to responsibility maintain an active and high case load
- Interpersonal skills needed to work with diverse populations and outside agencies or vendors
- Ability to be proactive and work in a fast-paced environment
