POSITION: Snack Bar Attendant

REPORTS TO: Director of Food and Beverage

FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for serving and preparing food and drinks at the Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club's Snack Bar.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs simple food preparation and serves food and drinks at the Club's Snack Bar
• Ensures quality of product and service with intent to provide the highest level of member and guest satisfaction
• Performs opening and closing procedures.
• Ensures sanitation standards are met in the Snack Bar area.
• Observes food serve safe practices and all general Club safety protocols.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:

• Cooking experience required
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation procedures
• Ability to multi-task and perform tasks under pressure within tight time constraints
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
• Must read, write, speak and understand English
• Must be available to work 3-4 shifts a week, mostly 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., weekdays, weekends and holidays
• Point of sales system or register experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older
  
  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, finger dexterity, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting. Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Standing and walking on various surfaces for an extended period of time.
