Veterinary Assistant

Rancho Santa Fe Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time veterinary assistant to join our amazing team! We are a privately-owned, small animal practice and we view our team like family. We are located in Solana Beach and perform state-of-the-art medicine: medical, surgical and dentistry services, puppy and kitten care, digital radiology and ultrasound, lab testing, a full pharmacy, and much more.

Our ideal candidate is a team player with a big heart and a love of animals who is organized, hard-working and demonstrates initiative. We prefer at least one year experience working in the veterinary field. A Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification is not required. Compensation is dependent upon experience.

Applicants must demonstrate:

• Desire to provide excellent patient care and customer service
• Exceptional maturity and professionalism / strong work ethic
• Ability and initiative to learn quickly and advance your knowledge and skills
• Ability to accept / provide critical feedback
• Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute
