Job Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Rancho Seco Care Center, you will:
- Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines
- Record treatments given and progress notes in medical records
- Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences
- Communicate with supervisors and other healthcare team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
- Record treatment charges per facility policy and procedures
- Instruct patient families or nursing staff in maintenance programs
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant
- A strong desire to help patients and residents in their rehabilitation process
- Strong writing skills for documentation of care provided
- Knowledge and understanding of therapy practice
