Rancho Seco Care Center is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for treating patients under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and adhering to facility documentation guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines
- Record treatments given and progress notes in medical records
- Assist in maintaining department cleanliness and organization
- Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences
- Communicate with supervisor and other healthcare team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
- Participate in training programs for other staff in the facility
- Record treatment charges per facility policy and procedures
- Instruct patient families or nursing staff in maintenance programs
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant certification
- Superior interpersonal communication skills
- Strong writing skills required for documentation of patient care
- Knowledge and understanding of therapy practice
- High credibility and integrity
- A positive attitude and strong desire to contribute to organizational excellence
