What you’ll do: Our Executive Superintendents are central to field leadership and operations. In setting the standard for Superintendents at rand*, our Executive Superintendents often take lead roles in project interviews—reviewing drawings, developing bid schedules, and providing input on project approach—while balancing needs across people management, field administration, schedule, and safety.

Qualified candidates will:
- Display exemplary performance in all project safety related categories
- Interface with the client and client's leadership team at the highest level on schedule, updates, and challenges while effectively communicating plans and alternative solutions
- Take a leading role in project interviews
- Hold project superintendents accountable for project administrative duties
- Periodically audit jobsites during site walks to ensure standards are being met
- Assist teams with complex and specialty quality control issues
- Assist teams with pre-punch walks to identify quality trends and ensure smooth/timely punch list process
- Set the example of "do and teach" by training and coaching Superintendents at all levels to meet rand*'s high standards of administration and organization
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Enhance project sales (win probability) through reputation & relationships
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must have 15 years’ experience as lead superintendent on commercial interior, retail, or building renovation projects
- Proven track record of independent judgment and decision-making when faced with matters of executive or non-routine nature
- Ability to anticipate and be proactive
- Ability to deal professionally and diplomatically with individuals at all levels
- Able to troubleshoot and solve highly complex project-related issues with all levels of team members
- Ability to manage deadlines, deliver as needed
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments with a strong attention to detail
