Duties

- Perform medical coding using ICD-10 and ICD-9 standards for dental procedures.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients prior to appointments.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure proper documentation and coding practices are followed.
- Assist in managing managed care processes and documentation.
- Provide support in the office by handling administrative tasks related to patient care.
- Stay updated on changes in medical terminology, coding practices, and insurance policies relevant to dental services.
Skills
- Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and familiarity with ICD-9 is preferred.
