Job Type: Regular Analytics & Data Manager Manages the reporting, metrics, governance, analytics, and data integrity efforts of HR data. Leverages Workday and various data analytics platforms to present data accurately and intuitively. Collaborates closely with HR leaders, IT, and cross-functional teams to meet reporting needs, enhance data governance, and drive data-driven decision-making.   Responsible for the strategy of providing the business trends and potential opportunities through complex data analysis. Develops simple to complex HR reports and dashboards using data from multiple HR data sources. Perform complex data manipulation and aggregation of data from multiple HR data sources.   Designs and develops dashboards to answer relevant business questions and communicate report data in a concise and easy to understand format. Integrates disparate data from multiple systems and tools. Leverages technology to deliver the right information to the customer in a timely fashion.   This position will directly manage two employees. Duties and Responsibilities  HR Analytics:  Responsible for the strategy of providing the business with trends and potential opportunities through complex data analysis.  Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights related to HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).  Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate HR data and insights to stakeholders.  Conduct statistical analyses and predictive modelling to support HR initiatives and identify potential risks or opportunities.  Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop customized reports and analytics to meet their needs.  Provide HR data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive HR initiatives.  Stay updated with HR trends, industry benchmarks, and best practices to enhance HR data analysis capabilities.  Participate in HR projects and initiatives related to data analytics, including HR system implementations, process improvements, and automation.  Provide training and guidance to HR team members on data analysis tools and techniques.  Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in HR data analysis.  HR Data:  Perform complex data manipulation and aggregation of data from multiple HR data sources.  Monitor HR data to identify data anomalies, outliers, and data quality issues, and take corrective actions as necessary.  Collect and analyze HR data from various sources, including HRIS, employee surveys, performance evaluations, and other relevant systems.  Clean, transform, and validate HR data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.  Support HR data requirements for regulatory reporting, audits, and compliance purposes.  Participate in HR projects and initiatives related to data analytics, including HR system implementations, process improvements, and automation.  Collaborate with the Workday team and / or external vendors to optimize HR data management systems and ensure data accuracy and accessibility.  Maintain data privacy and confidentiality standards in handling sensitive HR data.    Knowledge & Skills  Extensive, in-depth knowledge of HR processes, metrics, and KPIs.   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex HR data sets.   Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms, to create compelling dashboards and reports.   Experience with Workday and its data structures, including data extraction and manipulation.   Strong understanding of statistical analysis techniques, including correlation analysis, regression, and predictive modeling.   Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling and analyzing HR data.   Excellent communication and storytelling skills to effectively communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.   Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.   Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.   Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with HR data analysis trends, tools, and best practices.   HR certifications or additional training in data analysis or statistics is a plus.  Education & Work Experience  Bachelor’s degree in HR, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field required, master’s degree preferred.  Relevant Experience 6 – 8 years (Minimum)   Locations Santa Monica, CA, Washington, DC, or Pittsburgh, PA This is a hybrid, position with the expecation of 40%-50% in office SALARY RANGE: $102,800 - $156,500 RAND considers a variety of factors when formulating an offer, including but not limited to, the specific role and associated responsibilities; a candidate’s work experience, education/training, skills, expertise; and internal equity. The salary range includes base pay plus RAND’s sabbatic pay (which provides additional compensation above base pay when vacation is taken).
