Facility Technician

Position Summary

Maintain and repair conveyor and facility systems to improve facility operations and support production team in assuring readiness of automation systems to fulfill goals.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automation systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and open/close building.
• Provide technical assistance to distribution leadership.
• Troubleshoot and repair power distribution systems.
• Fabricate/construct facility alterations.
  
  
  

Position Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma required.
• Associate degree or technical degree preferred.
  
  
  

Relevant Work Experience

• At least 2 years of warehouse or distribution technician experience including working on conveyors and/or sorters.
  
  
  

Other Qualifications

• Ability to work with distribution leadership as well as floor associates to troubleshoot issues.
• Have a customer service focus ensuring that systems are ready to meet facility goals.
  
  
  

The shift regularly works Monday - Thursday 2:00pm - 12:30am. Overtime may be scheduled (including on Fridays) as needed.
