Position Summary

Essential Job Functions
- Negotiate costs and determines appropriate order placement based on preferred vendor status, factory capacity & capabilities, quality and delivery.
- Develops and continuously evaluates the appropriate agent/vendor/factory structure.
- Develops applicable time and action calendars for specific programs.
- Manage cost reporting.
- Manage and maintain roll up reports for review during weekly departmental meetings. This includes capacity plan, line plan analysis, and fabric flow reports.
- Responsible for generating and reporting production updates, proactively owning internal communications with key cross-functional partners to ensure alignment on current production status, potential risks, and necessary actions to maintain on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
- Assists in the development cycle with merch, design, product development and tech design. Providing vendor direction for sampling and estimated or initial costing during the development cycle.
- Assists in production-related issues to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Fashion Merchandising/Business or related field.
- Required: 2-3 years of experience in production management, costing, or supply chain operations.
- Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational and follow through skills.
- Proven multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Problem predicting and resolution skills that allow for a proactive approach to the business.
- Ability to think analytically, plan strategically and act tactically to the needs of the business.
- Management and communication skills to work effectively with executives, designers, tech designers, production and vendors.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
