Position Summary:

Haggar Clothing Company, a division of Randa Apparel & Accessories and a leading apparel brand, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Vice President of Sourcing. Located in Farmers Branch, TX, Haggar has a rich history, evolving from a manufacturer of men's fine dress pants to a widely recognized brand with market-leading quality and value, a robust e-commerce platform, and products available in over 10,000 stores across North America. As the VP of Sourcing and Production, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sourcing strategies and production execution to ensure the continued success and growth of Haggar and licensed brands.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead and develop a high-performing sourcing team by providing strategic direction, mentorship, and performance management to ensure continuous growth and achievement of objectives.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that maximize value capture and minimize risk with a goal of year-over-year improvement across categories and KPIs.
• Build strong relationships with our factories, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Create a team environment of partnership and trust by modelling positive communication within and across disciplines.
• Deliver margin goals by driving cost reduction initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional leaders. Incorporate commodity tracking, comparable style costing, and high-level production commitments into sourcing strategy and cost negotiations.
• Collaborate with the Product team to influence decisions about your product to reduce costs, eliminate inefficiency, and ensure finished goods ship on time.
• Own the time and action calendar for capacity commitments, cost estimation, cost finalization, order placement, and on-time production monitoring.
• Ensure that all seasonal booking deadlines are clearly communicated, issues are raised, and the cross-functional team is updated in a timely manner.
• Develop, implement, and champion processes and tools that enable efficiency, scale and productivity for the broad organization.
• Work in conjunction with Quality Control to ensure suppliers are meeting our high quality and safety standards and inefficiencies are being driven out of the product development and production processes.
• Champion a data driven culture by defining effective KPIs and leveraging them to promote continuous process and performance improvement.
• Drive and advocate for employee development and engagement to advance a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and organizational vibrancy.
• Keep an informed pulse on industry trends to drive and evolve sourcing strategies

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in sourcing and production within the apparel industry.
• Minimum of 5 years leading and developing a team of individual contributors.
• In-depth knowledge of global sourcing, supply chain management, and production processes.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience working with international suppliers.
• Ability to analyze market trends and make strategic recommendations.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Excel proficiency. Knowledge of YuniquePLM a plus.
• Familiarity with industry compliance standards and regulations.
• Familiarity with sustainability standards.
