Metro Detroit insurance agency has a position available for a customer service agent / producer. We are looking for a people-person with great verbal communication skills who is a team player with a can-do attitude.
Our agency specializes primarily in Meemic property and casualty insurance products at extremely competitive prices for employees of schools, teaching hospitals and all active or retired members of the educational community.

Key Responsibilities :
- Answer and respond to client questions and servicing needs
- Write and service policies in the Guidewire system
- Generate sales and manage policy change requirements
- Perform policy reviews to correct issues and optimize coverage options based upon client needs
- Meeting with clients in person
- Cross-selling and client retention tasks
- Assist with marketing and lead follow-up
- Organize documentation received from clients and carriers in agency CRM system
A P&C license is required with 3 years experience as a CSR / producer. Experience with the Guidewire system is a definite plus. Previous employment as a teacher or educational professional is also a plus
