Randall Construction is currently seeking a top-tier Facility Maintenance Technician to work in our headquarters in Apopka, FL. We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.
Position Summary
At Randall, the Facility Maintenance Technician will play a vital role by performing a variety of activities required for the efficient and effective performance of Randall's buildings, storage units and exterior yard. The selected candidate will have experience in a variety of trades to perform repairs and renovations, cleaning, landscaping and maintenance.
Assure the effective functioning of the facility to provide an efficient and safe working environment for employees and their activities by using best business practices to manage resources, services and processes to meet the needs of the company. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with office personnel and various departments.
Essential Functions
- Follow a facility management program including preventative maintenance
- Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
- Perform maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
- Participate in facility refurbishment and renovations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes
- Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency
- Coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers
- Manage and review services performance on our site
- Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives
- Assure security of the facility
- Provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants
Desired Qualification Requirements
Physical Requirements
This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
