Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning and implementation of appropriate activities in terms of quality, interest, and needs.
- Plans and coordinates activities and events, discussion groups & clubs, cultural activities, special entertainment, off-campus trips, holiday parties, etc. for cottage and independent living residents
- Creation of the monthly activity calendar and newsletter for Cottage and Independent Living neighborhoods
- Inform residents and staff of changes to scheduled programming in a timely manner.
- Evaluate programming quality and participation on an ongoing basis.
- Communicate with residents and families regarding participation and satisfaction with activity programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience coordinating activities for seniors
- Valid Driver’s license and a clear driving history.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with good time management skills.
- Pleasant and friendly demeanor with an outgoing personality.
- Available to work evenings and weekends as required for scheduled events.
