We are looking to hire a Part-Time Bus Driver to join our remarkable team!

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

The primary purpose of this position is to transport residents to and from appointments and activities in a safe manner to destinations located beyond the premises of the facility .

• Provide safe transportation to and from activities/appointments for residents as scheduled.

• Pickup and deliver items as directed to meet the needs of the community.

• Assist each resident on and off the vehicle to ensure personal safety using proper and specified equipment and procedures.

• Responsible for daily inspection and maintenance of the community vehicle (gas, oil, coolant, air pressure, lights, etc.) and cleanliness of the interior and exterior.

• Identify transportation issues/concerns to the Executive Director.

• Attend and participate in service training programs to meet state

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or comply with State or local laws regarding the employment of minors.

• A high school diploma or equivalent.

• Driving record that meets facility's vehicle use policy.

• Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public

• Suitable to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of each resident.

• Capable of handling emergency situations.

Familiarity with the Brighton area is preferred
