Dishwasher

As a Dishwasher at Randazzo Fresh Market, a family-owned gourmet grocery store, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, pots, pans, trays, bowls, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment, and to ensure that all prepared foods are served on/in clean and properly sanitized dishes, bowl & trays.

Key Responsibilities:

· Wash, rinse and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, trays, bowls, utensils, and equipment as needed and throughout your shift

· Ensure that all dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety regulations

· Maintain a clean and organized work area and prepared foods department are, including sweeping and mopping floors and wiping down counters and equipment

· Assist with food preparation as needed, such as chopping vegetables, filleting chicken, mixing ingredients as requested by the department chef

· Help with taking out trash and recycling

· Follow all safety & sanitation procedures and guidelines

· Assist with other tasks as assigned by the kitchen manager

Requirements:

· Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required, we will train

· Ability to operate industrial dishwashing machines and perform handwashing

· Ability to follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

· Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, holidays and the 3 days prior to holidays as needed

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
