What are the responsibilities and job description for the 4-H Summer Program Facilitator position at Randolph County Government?
Performs administrative and educational functions for a 4-H summer educational program for NC Cooperative Extension, Randolph County Center, and other youth agencies. Duties included designing, implementing, and teaching 4-H educational programs for youth ages 8 . Will assist in compiling weekly reports, maintaining participant records, and maintaining equipment and facilities. Some pre-planning work required before summer program begins. Performs related duties as required. Also will need to assist with other 4H summer activities as needed. Will need to assist the Cooperative Extension staff with any other program areas that may need help and with our move to our new Ag Center.
Minimum Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED and three years’ experience working with youth programming, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Special Comments:
Teaches 4-H curriculum such as crafts, nutrition and water conservation, Pre-K family child services education, and summer fun programs in county schools.
Prepares educational programs and materials for extension programs and projects.
Abides by, enforces and participates in the implementation and ongoing oversight of Randolph County Government safety standards and regulations.
