What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Care Attendant position at Randolph County Government?
An employee in this class is responsible for feeding and caring for the animals as well as maintaining the shelter in a clean condition. Duties also include assisting in the incoming animal process and showing animals to the public. Tact and courtesy are required in contact with the public. Work is performed under general supervision and is evaluated through conferences and by inspection.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Graduation from high school and one year of clerical and/or animal shelter experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
