What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Randolph County Government?
Performs manual work in the care and cleaning of buildings, opening and securing buildings, performing minor building maintenance, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the direction of immediate supervisor.
Essential Functions
Sweeps, vacuums and mops assigned areas and rooms.
Removes trash from rooms and buildings and puts in dumpster; removes and sorts recycling from rooms and buildings.
Scrubs and cleans restrooms including mirrors, wash basins, commodes, etc.; fills tissue, towel and soap dispensers.
Dusts furniture, walls, window sills and other woodwork; cleans and dusts window blinds.
Cleans glass doors and partitions.
Performs simple building maintenance work, such as changing light fixtures; makes minor adjustments to facility.
Prepares supplies and equipment for department meetings, as needed.
Abides by, enforces and participates in the implementation and ongoing oversight of Randolph
Minimum Education and Experience:
Less than high school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Hours: 6:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays.

Pay: $27,186.65 - $41,851.21 per year
