What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Randolph County Government?
Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the Randolph County Public Health Department. To ensure safety as it pertains to facility sanitation.
Duties & Responsibilities
Performs sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming of floors.
Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms and examination rooms.
Cleans wall surfaces, switch plates, woodwork, windows, furniture and other equipment.
Maintains and refills paper supplies and soap dispensers in bathrooms and exam rooms.
Collects and disposes of trash and garbage, utilizing proper safety procedures to handle and dispose of potentially hazardous chemicals and biological materials and wastes.
Removes trash at front entrance.
Keeps grounds (walkway, breezeway, entrance, etc.) free of debris and leaves.
Applies de-icer to walkways if necessary.
Places recyclables in appropriate bin for weekly pickup.
Performs related duties as required.

Minimum Education and Experience:
One (1) year experience in housekeeping or general maintenance; or a demonstrated ability to perform housekeeping or custodial duties; or an equivalent combination of demonstrated ability and experience.
Special Comments:
Valid driver's license.
Accuracy Required ! Must be accurate in cleaning and sanitizing according to protocol; must maintain accurate records and logs.
