Description
The quaint and cozy Ramseur Public Library is seeking a part time housekeeper to keep it's well-maintained spaces clean and tidy.
Job duties include-
- Performing manual work in the care and cleaning of the building.
- Sweeping, vacuuming & mopping assigned areas.
- Removing trash from building.
- Scrubbing & cleaning restrooms; filling tissue, towel & soap dispensers.
- Dusting furniture, window sills & other woodwork.
- Cleaning glass doors & partitions.
- Performing other related duties as required.
- Required frequency of job duties can vary from once a week to multiple times each week. performed under the direction of immediate supervisor.
Minimum Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, write and follow oral instructions and 1 year related experience.
Special Comments
The position is 5 hours per week. Hours should be split between 2 or more days each week.
Cleaning duties must take place outside of the library's hours of operation, which includes the following options-
Monday-Friday : Prior to 9am or after 6pm; Saturday : Prior to 9am or after 1pm; Sunday : Any time.
