Randolph House Hotel, an exciting new addition to the vibrant hospitality scene in Liverpool/North Syracuse, is preparing to open its doors in March 2025! We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Front Desk/Night Audit professional to join our team as we prepare for this exciting milestone.
Position: Front Desk/Night Audit Location: Randolph House Hotel, Liverpool/North Syracuse Opening: March 2025
Job Summary: As a Front Desk/Night Audit team member, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for every guest. You will assist with check-ins, check-outs, guest inquiries, and manage night audit functions to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel overnight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service Excellence:
- Greet guests warmly, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Night Audit:
- Perform end-of-day accounting duties, including balancing accounts, processing guest payments, and ensuring accurate records.
- Reconcile daily revenue reports and prepare nightly audit reports.
- Verify guest information and billing details for accuracy.
- Operational Support:
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and lobby.
- Assist with reservations and room assignments as necessary.
- Ensure hotel security protocols are followed during overnight hours.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Process and handle guest check-in/check-out procedures efficiently.
- Assist with preparing and distributing daily reports and logs.
- Monitor hotel systems and address any technical or operational issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Prior experience in hotel front desk or customer service roles is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide outstanding guest service.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle accounting functions accurately.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
