Randolph House Hotel, a new and exciting addition to the vibrant hospitality scene in Liverpool/North Syracuse, is preparing to open its doors in March 2025! We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team and help us maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

Job Summary:
As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens, towels, and laundry items are cleaned, pressed, and organized to meet the hotel’s high standards. You will play a key role in maintaining a consistent supply of clean and fresh linens for our guests, contributing to their overall experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Laundry Operations:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press linens, towels, and other laundry items according to hotel standards.
- Operate laundry machines, dryers, and other equipment efficiently and safely.
- Monitor laundry supplies and notify management when inventory is low to ensure the department runs smoothly.
Quality Control:
- Inspect linens and towels for stains, damage, or wear, and ensure they are properly cleaned and repaired when necessary.
- Ensure that all laundry is returned to guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house departments in a timely and organized manner.
- Maintain proper cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure the smooth flow of clean linens and supplies throughout the hotel.
- Communicate with other departments to meet the needs of the hotel, especially during high-volume periods.
Inventory and Supply Management:
- Keep track of linen inventory and ensure linens are appropriately stored and well-maintained.
- Assist in tracking and organizing linens for special events, VIP rooms, and other needs.
Safety and Cleanliness:
- Maintain a clean and safe laundry room, ensuring that all equipment is in working order and that laundry procedures follow safety guidelines.
- Follow all health and safety protocols related to the handling and cleaning of laundry.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment and follow laundry processes.
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality control.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep track of large volumes of laundry.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
