Medical Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at a Randolph Primary Care. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in patient care and medical administrative tasks within a fast-paced office environment.

Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform medical procedures including EKGs, immunizations etc.
- Administer medications as directed by physicians
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems
- Handle patient service inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification or experience
- Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Experience working in a hospital or clinic setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with patients and healthcare professionals effectively
- Knowledge of medical administrative support functions and electronic health record systems, Knowledge of Epic is a plus.

-Must have Phlebotomy experience

-Bi-Lingual a plus

Office hours are Monday - Friday 8-5, Open position is at our Asheboro office but also may be asked to work at one of our other locations occasionally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
